The Seiko Sports Technologies Team are in the final stages of preparing to provide our renowned Timing & Measurement Services at the World Athletics Championships 2025 in Tokyo. This event marks 40 years of Seiko’s partnership with World Athletics having been trusted to deliver Timing and Measurement Excellence for 19 consecutive Championships and over 200 World Series competitions.
After nearly two years of intensive planning and preparation more than 40 of our UK staff will join our Japanese colleagues working as one team to deliver. Preparations in the National Stadium are well underway with competition set to begin on Saturday September 13th at 8am with the 35Km Race Walking contest.
Hosting this event in Seiko’s home city makes it especially significant event for all of us and as you’ll see here there is a lot for visitors to explore alongside the Athletics; excitement in Tokyo is mounting!
