Hiring – Software and Events Engineer

The Software and Events Engineer will play a key role in the deployment and support of our sports timing and data capture and management systems. You will help to deliver events to exacting requirements on top level international competitions.

Working collaboratively within our Development Team you will help turn user and customer requirements into powerful and robust software solutions.

With a busy schedule of Sporting Events we’re actively seeking people who would like to join us in providing Timing and Measurement Services at top tier competitions around the World.


Software & Events Engineer

  • Contract; Permanent, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Location; Crewe, UK.
  • Salary; £35k p.a. depending on experience

Based at our UK office in Crewe, Cheshire you will work alongside a skilled team in the delivery of World Athletics, UK Athletics, World Gymnastic Events as well as future opportunities.

You will work under the pressure of Live Events to support timing, measurement and data services and maintaining Seiko’s reputation for precision and excellence.

You will have a strong understanding of software development techniques and a broad based tech stack. Confidence working independently to debug and support software both at base and in the field will be essential.

The role offers the exciting opportunity for extensive international travel, immersing yourself in diverse cultures, building global connections, and experiencing the world first-hand. 

This is an opportunity to join the Seiko team on a full-time permanent contract. You must have the legal right to work in the UK and reside within reasonable commuting distance of our office.
